This Man

This man has been on my mind so much. Not a day passes that I don't hear his voice in my head or see his smile.

This man who spent his whole life for his family making sure we knew how to love as Our Lord loves us.

This man who gave his all each and every day so that we could all learn what love truly is.

This man who quietly and humbly passed through the world leaving his mark on all he touched.

This man who I know promised to spend his purgatory making sure that we all wouldn't have to.

This man took my heart and soul with him when he breathed his last.

This man has left behind little hints of himself in each one of his children so that I would see daily reasons to continue on.
