Monday

Outside my window...the sun is shining brightly. I, however, am not falling for its deception. The thermometer is telling a different story. Even here is the south the sun tries to convince the viewer that it is warm when it's not.  I'll take it though.

I am thinking...that it is time for a road trip! I have to think of some place to go and something to see before this trip can take place.

I am thankful for...the time that papa and I had together and for the children that God blessed us with.  Each one of these people carries a bit of their dad in them and I am blessed to be the recipient of their love.

One of my favorite things...is the peace and beauty of my little corner of the world. This place where we have landed may not be perfect but to me it is perfectly right that I live here.

I am creating...memories and a heart the is beginning to open up to possibilities.

I am wearing...a flannel shirt and navy leggings. I have no plans (or means) to venture out today so comfort is the order of the day.

I am reading...The Life and Revelations of Anne Catherine Emmerich.

I am hoping...that the current trend towards more sun and warmth continues. I have ordered my garden seeds, the lumber to finish the raised beds, and the soil to fill them. It is the time of year when this old lady's heart turns to dirt and growing things.

Here are some picture thoughts I am sharing...

Lowes came bright and early to deliver the lumber I ordered. The occasion was timed perfectly to give Nate and Teddy something to watch while I cleaned the floors.

Noah also took this time to fall asleep in his nest!

My favorite part of the location of this house. If I couldn't have a view of the mountains then I needed a view of open fields and their occasional visitors.
